Thunder Mountain has 10 cabins that make great getaways any time of the year, and what's really cool is the fact they are actually affordable. In the galley below, I'll take you inside Cabin #2 so you can see what the typical cabin looks like.

Your cabin comes with a charcoal grill, picnic table, and a fire ring outside. There is a community fire pit with hammocks where you can enjoy the stillness of the mountain air, and the view of a gorgeous lake.

Everything You Need

Inside the cabin is everything you need for a comfortable stay including the appliances, dishes and utensils, blankets, linens, towels, and one very important commodity - coffee. All you have to do is bring the food - and maybe your pajamas. The cabin will sleep six with four beds and one bath.

They Have the Play Toys You Want

If you come to play they rent canoes, a rowboat, stand-up paddleboards, a hydro bike, and in the winter you can borrow snowshoes and plastic sleds or rent a snowmobile and do a snowmobile tour.
