It pretty much goes without saying that one of the things Colorado is most famous for, if not the one thing that it's most famous for, is its natural landmarks.

Throughout our beautiful state, we have some of the most stunning mountains in the world, some of the best hiking trails around, some of the coolest state parks, and one of the best music venues on the planet which started out as a natural landmark itself.

Many people who love to visit Colorado, or have always wanted to spend time in the state, have specific things that they want to see when they get here. After all, you just don't get the type of natural beauty that you do here in, say, Topeka, or Philadelphia, or really anywhere for that matter.

Curious, I posted a question on Facebook asking what natural Colorado landmarks that you've been to are the coolest and got all kinds of great responses.

Coolest Colorado Natural Landmarks Grand Junction Residents have Been to

Some of the great natural landmarks that Grand Junction residents have been to are pretty famous and include places like the Great Sand Dunes, Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater, and Hanging Lake.

However, some places like Red Cloud Peak, Maroon Bells, and Imogene Pass are pretty much exclusively known to Colorado locals but are amazing nonetheless.

As with any question like this, you're bound to get some lighthearted responses from the usual suspects which included Denver gentlemen's club Shotgun Willies and the timeless response of "your mom."
