CMU Courses Will Be Online After Spring Break Due to Coronavirus

All courses at Colorado Mesa University will be moving online after Spring Break due to coronavirus. The campus is currently open and under normal operations.

Colorado Mesa University is currently open and under normal operations, according to its website. The university is taking a proactive prevention approach while reducing fear or panic when it comes to the coronavirus.

Colorado Mesa Univesity has announced that after Spring Break, which is March 14 through March 22, classes will not be held on campus. CMU stated:

Effective March 23, immediately following Spring Break, CMU courses will be temporarily moved to an online format for a period of two weeks (March 23-April 5). All CMU campuses will remain open during this period.

The Student Wellness Center on campus, which is partnered with Community Hospital, is following current public health protocols, carefully monitoring student patients for symptoms and is performing screenings, according to their website.

CMU knows that many students will be traveling for Spring Break, and encourages students to consider travel recommendations from the CDC.
