The opening of the new Arc Thrift Store in Grand Junction draws near and donations are already being accepted.

Recently, I shared with you 61 things that can't be donated to the new thrift store. The list seemed long, and people were asking so what can you donate? Well, I'm glad you asked, and the fact is, the list of items they accept is way longer than the naughty list.

I'm sure you have stuff in your basement, garage, shed, closet, or attic that has plenty of usefulness left in it, but you no longer have the need for. Believe me, I know how it goes. We had a garage sale last summer, but I'm still finding stuff around the house that I want and need to get rid of.

Donating at the Arc Thrift Store in the Eastgate Shopping Center on North Avenue is a breeze. All you have to do is take your items to the back of the building where the Arc team will unload your donations. They also accept cash and credit donations and all monetary donations stay in the community and help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Okay, so if you are ready, here we go with 101 things you can donate to the Arc Thrift Store.
