Kathleen Brady Ross graduated from Steamboat Springs High School in 2012. Kathleen has always loved music and has just signed a record deal with Warner Records.

Kathleen Brady Ross grew up in Steamboat Springs and graduated from Steamboat Springs High School in 2012. She has always loved music and was always singing in school, according to the Steamboat Pilot.

She sang so much, her teachers had to tell her to stop while taking tests because she didn't even realize she was doing it. Kathleen was in theater and choir in school and then skiing, swimming, volleyball, lacrosse and more. But according to the Steamboat Pilot, when she got to high school she realized that she didn't want to play sports anymore, she just wanted to write songs.

Kathleen then graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2016 and got her major in creative writing. She says this gave her a love of working with words and taught her how to workshop. Kathleen won a singer-songwriter contest as a senior in college, which scored her a four-song EP, studio time with a Grammy Award-winning producer, a mentoring songwriting session and a performance slot on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and more.

She moved to LA and spent two years writing songs for other people when she realized that she didn't want to write music for others -- she wanted to write music for herself. So Kathleen got herself a team that consists of a booking agent, lawers, and a manager.

Then after she got her team, she got signed. Kathleen just signed with Warner Records and she says it's the perfect timing. After she got signed with Warner, she Kathleen signed her name on the Warner Records wall, right next to Regina Spektor, which you can see below. Expect to hear Kathleen's music, which is heavily influenced by her time growing up in Steamboat, in the next year and a half.
