Embrace the Spirit of Christmas in Downtown Grand Junction on Dec. 13

Santa and Mrs. Claus are pulling out their bright winter coats and festive mittens for Downtown Grand Junction's Spirit of Christmas Walk — and they'd love to see you there.

Enjoy the holiday decorations as you stroll downtown and shop at our local shops, which will be open until 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 for the event. Whether you're buying gifts for family, coworkers and clients or finding the perfect treats and decor for your holiday celebrations, it's a perfect time to support our local businesses that work so hard to keep downtown a vibrant hub of activity, commerce and culture. Many shop window holiday displays are truly a delight to see, too!

There will be a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, live entertainment and free carriage rides. In fact, JR’s Carriage Service is offering free rides from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, as well as from noon to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 22. The line begins outside Cafe Sol, 420 Main St.
