We all have our favorite songs, but there are just certain songs we never get tired of hearing.

Songs Have A Special Place In Our Lives

There is something to be said for new songs, but, the fact is, most of us like familiarity. We like to listen to songs that we know. It may be that they have special meaning or bring a special memory or moment in our lives, or it may simply be the fact that we like the way the song sounds.

As much as I love tacos, I don't want to eat tacos every single day. Music is kind of the same way. We may really enjoy a particular artist or song, but too much of a good thing can get tiresome and boring.

The One Song We Never Get Tired of Hearing

However, it seems that most of us have a certain collection of songs in our brains that, even though we have heard them hundreds of times, we just never get tired of hearing them. With that thought in mind, I asked our listeners to weigh in on the conversation and tell us what song they can't get enough of.

Grand Junction Listeners Respond

The answers provided gave us quite a lot of variety. Katie said You and Me by Alice Cooper, Ralph mentioned AC/DC's Thunderstruck, Dee Dee pulled up Sleepwalk by Johnny and Santo that takes us back to 1959. Even the gospel music lovers got in on the conversation as Jim mentioned the Bill Gaither tune Because He Lives.

I could have spent a week compiling the list, but I had to narrow it down to 20 songs that Grand Junction just can't get enough of. That list is below - followed by the videos of each song on the list. Take your time and enjoy - and feel free to join the conversation with the one song you always want to hear one more time.
