Details have been extremely limited, leaving much mystery surrounding the deaths of two children in Western Colorado.

According to the Denver Post, two women have been charged with the killing of two children, whose bodies were discovered in September on a farm near Telluride.

Five people were initially arrested in connection with the slayings and charged with felony child abuse.

So far, authorities aren't saying much about the case.

It's not known publicly what the connection was between the defendants and the children, who were between the ages of 5 and 10. Police also aren't saying how the children were killed, or what led to murder charges being filed.

We do know that at least two of the people were from Haiti, one was from Jamaica, and one was from Norwood, Colorado.

So, for now, these tragic deaths remain shrouded in mystery. Hopefully, more answers will be coming in the days ahead.
