What Exactly is a 'Comic Con'?

You've probably heard of these events for some time. The Grand Junction event with the library has been running since 2015. According to the Mesa County Libraries web page:

Mesa County Libraries Comic Con is a fun, free, family-friendly event that brings together fans and creators, old and young in celebrating the importance of stories and fandoms that connect us and enrich our lives.

Dictionary.com describes a comic con as:

A comic-con is a convention (con, for short) focused on comic books and related forms of pop culture entertainment, including movies, TV shows, and video games.

Get Ready for 2022

The Mesa County Libraries webpage already says "Check back next Fall for more information on Comic-Con 2022!" I regret missing this year's event. While I have no intention of participating in the cosplay, it is my sincere hope to attend next year and witness these incredible costumes for myself.
