Arapahoe Basin and Wolf Creek were the first Colorado resorts to welcome skiers in 2021, and a parade of others will soon follow. Some good early season snow has allowed the ski season to get started earlier than a year ago when it was the very last part of October before the slopes were ready.
Most ski resorts in Colorado will open in November, though some will have to wait until December. Regardless of where you live, it won't be long until you'll be flying down a snow-covered mountain near you.

It would be the second La Nina winter in a row, and although La Nina can bring drier and above normal temperatures to parts of the country, Colorado had good snow for the 2020/2021 season.
Of course, snow is hard to predict over the course of several months, so we'll have to wait and see. Some early season snow in Colorado's high country may be a foretaste of things to come.
