An Easy Way to Update Information or Register to Vote in Grand Junction
With some of the possible voter scams happening, those wanting to register to vote will be happy to know there is a legitimate event in Grand Junction that will allow you to do both without visiting the elections office.
On Tuesday (September 27) the Mesa County Public Libraries are giving people in and around the Grand Junction the ability to register to vote. New residents will also have an opportunity to update their information at the library.
Voter Registration Day is taking place at three locations,
- Central Library - 443 North 6th Street - 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
- Orchard Mesa Branch - 230 Lynwood Street - 3:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.
- Fruita Branch - 324 North Coulson - 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Any person who is at least 18 years of age and a US citizen is eligible to register and vote. Those already registered who need to update information including a change of address can also take advantage of this event.
