What to Expect at the Last Downtown Grand Junction Farmers Market of the Season
Hard to believe that today (Sept 14) is the last downtown Grand Junction Farmers Market of the season, but it is and here's what you can expect to find.
I have had a chance to be at most of the summer's downtown farmers markets in Grand Junction whether it was to enjoy some delicious BBQ ribs, a meatball sub, a polish dog, or just to pick up some freshly baked banana nut bread.
Some people go downtown on Thursday's for the live local music, while others are all about finding their favorite fresh-grown produce. Still, others come down just to be a part of the crowd.
It all ends tonight in downtown Grand Junction, but, in case you didn't know, there will be another farmers market next Thursday on the campus of Colorado Mesa University.
For tonight here's what is happening.
- Soul Habit - 4th and Main
- Zac Grant - 5th and Main
- Wave 11 - 6th and Main
Because of the Tour de Rock event tonight which happens after the farmers market, some of your favorite vendors may be in a slightly different location than where you are used to finding them.
While tonight's downtown Grand Junction Farmers Market officially ends at 8:00, some vendors may be shutting down just a little early, so you definitely don't want to be late getting downtown today.
Rain is in the forecast, but don't let that keep you away. Bring an umbrella, just in case, and you'll have no worries.
