Local musician, Shea Bramer, just released his first Christmas album just in time to get you in the Christmas spirit.

We had the chance to catch up with Shea at his performance this morning (Dec. 10) at Roasted in downtown Grand Junction to promote his newly released Christmas album, "Merry Christmas, I Love You".

Shea took the time to perform the original title track, "Merry Christmas, I Love You" on video and answer a few questions.

Mix 104.3: What made you do a Christmas album?

Shea Bramer:
I knew I didn't have the ability and equipment to compete on a national level, but I wanted to throw myself into the fire and force myself to set a deadline and create a product to further my art and push further Into the industry. I wanted to write a Christmas album that even people who don't like Christmas music could love
.

Mix: Where will you be playing to promote the new album?

Shea: I'm playing Thunderstruck Valley tomorrow from noon to 1:30, then I'll be at Springhill Suites from 6 - 8 p.m., followed by the Rockslide from 9 p.m. to midnight.

I'll be at the Doubletree on Friday from 7 to 10 p.m., then I'm back at the Rockslide at 11:30 p.m.

You can also catch me at the Alehouse on Saturday night from 7 to 10 p.m.

Mix: Sounds like you're busy. Where can everyone get "Merry Christmas, I Love You"?

Shea: They can buy it anywhere I play, or on my website.

Shea is also proud to say he did all of the production, artwork, everything.
