The Theatre Project of Grand Junction is playing "Schoolhouse Rock, JR" twice this weekend at the Grand Junction High School auditorium. The show times are on Saturday, September 26th at either 2:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. Tickets are only $5.00, and children under five are free.

Join over 50+ youth from the Grand Valley as they present this classic musical that will be fun for the entire family! Based on the 1970's cartoon, this faced-paced musical teaches lessons with clever, catchy tunes! The Emmy® Award-winning Saturday morning educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon is now the basis for one of the most fun and easily mounted musicals ever to hit the stage, Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR.

This energetic musical follows Tom, a young school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music. Memorable songs as "Just A Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly," and "Conjunction Junction" bring his lesson plans vividly to life.
