It's amazing what a difference a few weeks of love can make in the life of a homeless dog.

We're taking a look at this week's featured pets from Roice-Hurst Humane Societ, trying to find new forever homes for these homeless dogs and cats.

The first one we feature this week is Pancake, who has undergone a remarkable transformation. Pancake is a 10-year-old miniature Terrier/Poodle that had been hit by a car, arriving at Roice-Hurst injured, matted, and lost. After seven weeks of vet care, time at a foster home, and a fantastic makeover, Pancake is now healed up and ready for a family.

Doesn't he look adorable? You can see the incredible change in Pancake's appearance. Pancake is said to be more of a people person than a dog person, and might be a little shy at first - but once he gets to know you, won't leave your side.
