Rare music performances featuring the Rolling Stones, Three Dog Night, Simon and Garfunkel and other musical guests appearing on the the 'Red Skelton Hour' and not seen since the show went off the air in 1971 will soon be available.A new licensing deal will allow music footage from the show which aired from 1962-1971 to be released. The show, hosted by the late Red Skelton, featured stand-up comedy, sketches and performances by many of the top artists of the era.

In addition to those already mentioned, some of the other performances from the show that will be available include Manfred Mann, The Hollies, Dusty Springfield, The Four Seasons and The Fifth Dimension.

The Rolling Stones were guests on the program three times, including a 1964 performance that took place prior to their appearance that same year on the Ed Sullivan Show.

Reelin' in the Years Productions, the company who has exclusive rights to the performances has released a highlight video featuring some of the music footage being made available to be used in some documentary projects.
