Lost Dog: $1,000 Reward Offered For the Return of Walter
Walter is a one-year-old male boxer who disappeared earlier this month and a substantial reward is being offered for his safe return.
Walter was last seen on April 7th in the vicinity of 26 Road and H Road just before 12 noon and we are asking for the public's help in getting Walter home. A four-year-old boy is devastated and heart-broken mother is doing everything she possibly can to locate this young pup.
Anyone who has owned a beloved pet that is part of the family, and has children with a special attachment to it, you know how emotional it can be if that pet disappears. The fact is, most of us love our pets almost as if they were our kids.
If the story of a missing dog isn't sad enough, here's the kicker. The mother was out putting up missing dog posters when she received a phone call. The voice message apparently was from some kids who laughingly said they had found Walter and killed him. Imagine the heartbreak of this mother and her young son, not really knowing if this was just a cruel prank, or if someone had actually done harm to their beloved Walter.
Being a dog lover myself, my heart goes out to this family as they search for Walter. Did he run away? Was he taken? We don't really know the answer. All we can do is hope and pray that Walter is OK, and that he finds his way back home.
You can see more photos of Walter here and maybe you can help get Walter back. Spread the word with your friends and social media. Maybe someone knows something or has taken Walter in as a stray. A $1,000 reward is being offered for the return of Walter, no questions asked.
All I know is there is a heart-broken little boy who's desperately missing his best friend, and a loving mom who is beyond stressed out. I know this family would greatly appreciate any efforts you can give to getting Walter back home safe and sound.
