More Upgrades Are Coming to The Ranch in Loveland

Living in Northern Colorado probably means you have gone to at least one or two events at The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland. You might have visited for the Larimer County Fair, a rodeo, or maybe a Colorado Eagles game.

Recent Improvements for Visitors

Over the past few years, there have been numerous improvements that have been made to the grounds that make the experience better for everyone. Some of those improvements include a 4-H, Youth, and Community Area, a 95-space RV parking lot and hook-ups, lights at the intersections, and improved roads. These tasks all took place between 2019 and 2024; soon, there will be more improvements coming.

Over the course of the next five years, the Ranch Events Complex will be initiating phase two of the 2025 Master Plan Update. These updates will include some exciting things that focus on outdoor event space, modern upgrades, and more. Here are a few upgrades we could be seeing at The Ranch Events Complex through 2030.

• Event lawn expansion and outdoor amphitheater
• Event plaza and civil infrastructure
• 4-H outdoor archery range
• Youth hockey and sports facility
• Expansion and modernization of Blue Arena
• New convention/exposition center
• A full-service hotel

According to The Ranch Events Complex, that is just the start, because there is a phase three, which does not have an outline as of yet. However, Phase three will be shaped by recent and ongoing community input to expand beyond events. One of the proposals includes support for year-round youth sports and other community needs.
