Is Doritos Flavored Mountain Dew a Real Thing?

A college student posted a picture on line that supposedly showed Mountain Dew had set up a table on campus so people could try a flavor called Mountain Dew "Dewitos". I remain a skeptic.

As the story goes, it's some sort of orange flavored drink - with Doritos after-taste. Does that sound even remotely appealing to you??

I like Mountain Dew. And I love Doritos -- in just about any flavor - Regular, Taco, Cool Ranch, or Nacho Cheese. But, I don't think I want to drink my Doritos.

I mean, I love pepperoni pizza -- but I don't want to drink it. I love having a steak and baked potato --but I don't want steak-flavored soda.

I love tacos - probably more than any food on earth. But I don't want to drink them. Sugar cookies, brownies, and pecan pie are all yummy delicious treats in Zane's world, but I don't want to drink them. The best way to ruin two great tastes is to combine then into one.

If this Dewitos thing is real, at least it's just in the testing phase. Will people really go for a drink that tastes like chips? I find it hard to believe, but, honestly, nothing would surprise me. If it is real, I know I want nothing to do with it. I prefer my chips in a bag - not in a glass.
