Here's the New Names of Boulder's Snowplows

The time of year when snowplows and passenger vehicles coexist in the state of Colorado is a beautiful thing. Some people name their cars, so it's only right that snowplows sport a pretty cool nickname too.

The City of Boulder has held its second annual snowplow naming contest and the new names were drawn from more than 40 entries submitted by Boulder elementary school students.

Rene Lopez, City of Boulder Business Services Supervisor told KDVR:

Inspiring creativity around the a routine topic like snow clearing is a fun and impactful way to connect with our younger community.

She also said that the hopes are to bring back the contest again and again. So... What will the new names of Boulder snowplow be? The winning names are as follows"

Snow-caccino
Snowba Fett
Flurry
Frostaraurus (my personal favorite)
Snow Monster
Winter Wonder
Grateful Sled
Plowerina
Katy

The winning names will be featured on the Boulder city snowplows for the winter season of 2022-2023. The snowplow-naming winners will get an opportunity to take photos with the snowplow they named too. Which I think is super fun.
