It is almost time for the City of Grand Junctions "Parade Of Lights". Held this year on December 5, the parade theme is "Pedaling into the Holidays.”

Townsquare Media is honored to be the media sponsor for Grand Junction's biggest parade of the year -the Parade Of Lights.

Thousands of people from all over the area line up on Main Street to watch over 100 entries and celebrate the holidays! We invite you to come down and get into the holiday spirit in beautiful downtown Grand Junction!

The parade theme for 2015 is “Pedaling into the Holidays” with a nod to one of our most beloved Western Colorado sports: Bicycling and Mountain Biking!

Note on Parking: On November 19, 2014, City Council approved a ban on parking on Main Street during the Parade of Lights. This is primarily in the interest of safety, though visibility on the parade route and a reduction of exhaust fumes will also be improved. Parking will not be allowed along the parade route as of 3:00pm on Dec. 5. Any vehicles remaining along the parade route will be towed to a lot a few blocks away, where they can be retrieved at no cost to the owner. Please park on a side street or in the parking garage at 4th and Rood and walk over to enjoy the festivities!
