All Part Of An Amazing Program

The Grand Valley Paddling Club is hosting their 17th Annual Colorado River Cleanup t-shirt design competition. They're reaching out to artists with an opportunity to have their work displayed by cleanup vonunteers.

Each year t-shirts are provided to volunteers with the Colorado River Cleanup. Imagine seeing your artwork on display with these awesome volunteers.

How To Be Seen

The group is looking to partner with a different artist each year. The artist's work will be displayed on the front of the volunteers' t-shirts. Of course, credit will be given for the artist's work.

It doesn't have to stop there. If you're an aspiring artist, the organization would be willing to promote other media pertaining to the cleanup.

What's In It For The Artist?

In addition to seeing your work on display, the selected artist will be recognized at the "Appreciation BBQ" after the cleanup. Yes, the chosen artist is asked to donate their work. In the end, though, it's my opinion this would be a wise investment of your time and talent.

If You're Interested

The schedule for this campaign is as follows:

• Please express your interest no later than July 10th.
• The artist will be selected by July 13th.
• Artwork will need to be submitted by July 20th.

How To Get In Touch

If you would like more info or have an interest in submitting your work, contact Whip at gvpaddle@gmail.com. You will not need to submit your design at this point. Please include why you would like to be their featured artist and send some examples of your work.

Looking To The Future

As this event progresses, it is the organizations hope to one day turn this into a paying gig for local artists.
