Grand Junction Tree Lighting Ushers in Holiday Season [PHOTOS]

The annual tree lighting in downtown Grand Junction on Friday officially ushered in the holiday season with some great holiday music, the arrival of Santa, and the lighting of all the lights in downtown Grand Junction.

Hundreds of people turned out for the event on a chilly Friday night in downtown Grand Junction to enjoy the sounds of the season and to witness the arrival of Santa.

The kids were not disappointed, as Santa listened to their requests and then offered treats for all the good boys and girls.

This is such a great community event and we couldn't do it without the assistance of downtown Grand Junction, Major Mortgage, the Grand Junction Fire Department, Wells Fargo, Shea Bramer, and, of course, Santa Claus.
