[UPDATE] Man Barricaded in House Considered Armed and Dangerous

[UPDATE] Authorities apprehended the man peacefully.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is responding to a call of a man barricaded in a house. They consider him armed and dangerous.

The MCSO told KREX a man has barricaded himself in a house on 29 1/2 Road between Patterson and Orchard roads.

There is currently a shelter-in-place for residents in the immediate area with SWAT and other authorities on the scene.
