Can You Identify Grand Junction Porch Pirate and Grocery Store Thief?
Mesa County authorities are investigating two recent thefts and hoping the public can help them identify the subjects.
Packages Stolen From Porch
Two packages, valued at over $100 were stolen from the porch of a residence in the 2600 block of Eagle Ridge Court. Thanks to a RING surveillance camera, we have a couple of decent photos of the porch pirate responsible for the theft.
The other theft being investigated occurred recently at the City Market in Clifton and involved a large amount of cash.
Bag of Cash Stolen From Grocery Store
According to Crime Stoppers of Mesa County, City Market employees were filling the self-checkout registers when a male subject snatched a bag containing cash. Somehow he managed to grab the cash, get out the door, and escape in a gray or silver SUV driven by an unknown female.
