Festival of Trees Benefits Local Non-Profits
In case you didn't realize it, the annual festival of trees is underway in the Grand Valley.
It's quite possible you don't even know what the Festival of Trees is all about, but in just a few seconds you will.
A number of non-profits from around the Grand Valley have put the finishing touches on four lovely Christmas trees that will be awarded to the highest bidders, with proceeds going to non-profits like Grant A Wish Program, CASA of Mesa County, and Mesa Couny RSVP, Inc.
The trees are on display at Varaison Vineyards and Winery in Palisade, where people are invited to stop in, have a cup of cheer, and put a bid in on one or more of the trees.
According to a press release from Grand A Wish, the Festival of Trees was created by Mesa Mall, but was canceled in 2018.
So, if you need a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and would like to help out some of our local non-profits, stop in and make a bid between now and December 16. It will save you the hassle of putting up a tree and decorating it, plus you'll have a great feeling from spreading some goodwill this holiday season.
