‘Crime of the Week’ at Hobby Lobby in Grand Junction
Let’s be honest when you think of thieves stealing items you’re probably not thinking about Hobby Lobby being a big target, but there was a recent theft at the Grand Junction location that is now being called the ‘Crime of the Week’. This title was given by the team at Crime Stoppers of Mesa County and they are requesting your assistance in identifying the suspect in the photos.
The crime occurred on Wednesday, March 30th, 2021, and law enforcement was notified immediately by employees at the Hobby Lobby store. Surveillance cameras caught the suspect entering the business in the Rimrock Marketplace, walking around the store, and taking several items from hanging racks that all held pieces of jewelry.
What Did the Theft Suspect at the Grand Junction Hobby Lobby Store Look Like?
He is a white male with dark hair although it is shaved on the sides. During the theft, he was wearing a white zip-up jacket with stripes and black cuffs, and a collar. Although he was wearing a mask and sunglasses so it was difficult to get more of a description than that.
