Black Friday Produces Stabbings, Shootings, and Fights

Reports of Black Friday stabbings, shootings, and fights, has quickly dispelled the notion that this is the season to be jolly. It's a dark day in America.

The number of reports of violence and bad behavior is disturbing to say the least. Here's some of the incidents reported by syracuse.com:

• In Romeoville, Illinois, a driver was shot in the parking lot in an incident related to a shop lifting scheme
• In New Jersey a man got into an argument with a Walmart manager and was pepper-sprayed and arrested when he attacked a police officer
• Two men were arrested in Virginia after a stabbing incident related to a parking space
• In Las Vegas, a customer was shot in the leg while carrying his newly purchased big-screen TV back to his apartment.
• In Southern California two people were arrested following a fight over a line-cutting incident.
• The Daily Currant reports a woman killed three people with a sharpened Phillips-head screwdriver over the last remain X-Box One.

All I can say is, are you kidding me?? Seriously!! Has our society actually stooped so low that  numerous people would actually be assaulted over such temporal things? And this coming the day after - and in some cases - the SAME day - that we were all supposedly giving thanks for all of the wonderful blessings in our lives?

I will always be proud to be an American. But, today, I'm not proud of America.
