Your son or daughter could be the next Grand Junction Rockies bat boy/bat girl. Applications are now being accepted.

I have heard lots of stories from major league baseball players who started out as a bat boy as a youngster. Their love for the game started at a very young age, and ultimately they found themselves in the big leagues.

How fun would it be to sit in the dugout with the players, chase after foul balls, shine cleats, and to be a part of the ball club?

Boys and girls age 15 and older are encouraged to apply. Applicants are asked to put down in 50 words or less why they should get a shot at being a bat boy or bat girl. The deadline to apply is June27th and the winner will be announced during the game on July 4th.
