Your Boss Wants You To Do WHAT??

How far will you go for your boss? What request would be so outrageous that you would say no, regardless of the consequences? Bosses can be intimidating. Some have a way of getting their employees to do things they really don't want to --and shouldn't have to do. And I'm not even talking about sexual favors. According to a new survey from Career Builder, one in four workers has been asked to do something that is completely not related to their job or responsibilities. Some of them are pretty wacky.

I can't think of an occasion where I was asked to do something outrageous by my boss. But here are a dozen actual requests by bosses, that undoubtedly left their employees scratching their head.

1. Be a surrogate mother for her child.
2. Spy on senior management.
3. Buy a gun for him.
4. "Hook him up" with illegal substances.
5. Go online and post false favorable comments about him.
6. Come up with a science fair project for her daughter.
7. Fire the boss's brother.
8. Lend him $400 for a down payment on a car.
9. Remove her stitches.
10. Bail another co-worker out of jail.
11. Clip her dog's nails
12. Help plan her wedding
