For a while now we have known that the COVID-19 vaccine is available for anyone who wants the vaccine but now kids are able to receive the shot if they choose. The first event of its kind was held earlier this week at Central High School hosted by Marillac Health inviting not only students from Central but anyone in the community who wants the vaccine. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has been approved under emergency use for all kids 12 and up, so that is what was administered at the vaccine event earlier this week.
