From 10a to 1p if you happen to drive by their 25 1/2 Road facility you might see some interesting activity taking place that on any other day might cause alarm.

According to the press release the USPS will be performing a drill which will involve an emergency alert by their bio-detection device/alarm, which would take place if something like anthrax was found in the mail.

This includes many area agencies. The Grand Junction Fire Department will be on site to decontaminate employees, and the Mesa County Health Department would be dispensing meds in the parking lot.

The Grand Junction Police Department will also be on hand simulating traffic directives during this drill.

This is a regularly scheduled drill and their is no need to call 911.
