If there were a prize for the roughest road in Colorado this is definitely a top 10 contender.

Grand Junction is getting some much-needed road improvement. After watching this video, it may help us appreciate our "bad" roads.

This road near Blanca Peak is clearly intended for the most serious of four-wheelers. It takes guts and the right set of wheels to navigate the obstacles along this route. The end result is Blue Lakes Basin, east of Alamosa in south central Colorado.

I haven't done a ton of four-wheeling in my life, but what I have experienced is a walk in the park compared to what these guys are going through. This trek definitely gets my vote for top 10 consideration of the roughest roads in Colorado.
