These Are the Movies That Traumatized Us All As Kids

Last week I thought it would be fun to start a list of movies that traumatized us as kids because we can all think of at least one movie that scared us as we were younger. While it's fun to think about I had no idea so many movies would be mentioned, and so many of the same movies traumatized all of us as kids.

The two movies that got mentioned the most were probably Jaws and Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds". I was surprised to see The Wizard of Oz mentioned multiple times as traumatizing to kids. I understand how Bambi could scare a kid with the scene involving Bambi's mom. Another movie I didn't expect to be mentioned was Star Wars but when you're a little kid Jabba The Hutt could be intimidating.
