The Loco-Motion has been around for more than 50 years, and this song may never go away. On November 5, 1988 it became the  first song in chart history to hit the top five in three different versions when Kylie Minogue's version went to #3.  Little Eva took The Loco-Motion to #1 in 1962, and 12 years later, Grand Funk Railroad would also take it to #1. Minogue would peak out at #3 in the U.S., though her version hit #1 in Australia.

The Loco-Motion, written by Gerry Goff and Carole King, is ranked #359 on Rolling Stone's List of the 500 greatest songs of all time. It's been covered by countless artists including Latoya Jackson, Mike Love and Dean Torrence, and Ringo Starr. Most recently, the song was covered in 2011 by Radagun.
