A cool morning turned into a warm day for the over 500 bicyclists riding in the 18th Annual Rose Hill Rally which included riders of all ages and all types of bikes, including me, on the bike I rode in the very first Rose Hill Rally.
The 18th annual Rose Hill Rally bicycle ride is scheduled for May 4. This is the first big cycling event of the season and is great motivation for cyclists to tune up the bike, dig the cycling gear out of back of the drawer and take a few practice rides before the event.
Spring time is a fun time in radio land because of the fun events we get to do from Southwest Arborfest, the Art and Music Festival, the World's Greatest Yard Sale, the Rose Hill Rally, and the Insane Inflatable 5k, just to name a few.
With the recent cold weather and snow in and around Grand Junction, it's been real hard to think about the fact that now is the time a lot of people, including myself, usually start bicycling. One of the reasons for getting on your bicycle this month is so you can get a few miles in before the first big cycling event of the season, Rose Hill Rally.
