Despite the rainy conditions Saturday night, Colorado Mesa University’s football team held its own in the Mavericks’ 17-14 loss against Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Colorado Mesa University will see most of its athletic teams on this road this weekend, with some teams traveling within Colorado and other teams traveling as far as Texas and Idaho.
Colorado Mesa University’s football team opened up their season last Saturday with a 44-37 overtime win over Dixie State. Coming off that win, one of the Mavericks received the honor of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
