It doesn't matter how many times  you've been to the circus, every time is a brand new experience. While there may be an element of familiarity with each performance, it never ceases to be fun and exciting, regardless of  your age. That's one of the reasons why the Shrine Circus comes to Grand Junction every year performing to big crowds under the big top.

Of course, the circus is fun for all ages, but there is something special about seeing the  smiles and wonder on the face of children as they watch  the huge elephants perform, or laugh at the hilarity of the clowns. It is possible that for moms and dads watching the reaction of the kids is nearly as much fun as watching the circus.

The Shrine Circus will be at the Mesa County Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday with two performances both days at 10am and 8pm. Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 3-12 and are available at City Market.

The circus in Grand Junction helps the Western Colorado Shrine Club send sick children to Shriners Hospitals For Children, one of which is located in Salt Lake City.
