Remembering Baseball’s Most Bizarre Plays[VIDEO]

Baseball can be a strange game. Or maybe more appropriately, strange things can happen at a baseball game. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why baseball is so popular in America and why  thousands of fans will flock to the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction over the next several days. And so to celebrate the arrival of the much anticipated Junior College World Series, here is a look at some completely bizarre baseball happenings.

Baseball fans will remember this strange play in a pre-season game a few years ago with Randy Johnson on the mound. Johnson releases the ball to the plate, and an extremely  unlucky bird happens to fly between the mound and home plate at that very moment. You can see for yourself what becomes of the bird.

Here is one you don't see every day. Not only is it a triple play, but a triple play off the head of the center fielder.

Here's one you've probably never seen. At a major league game, the ball girl scales the left field wall to make an  unbelievable catch. Are you kidding me?

Then there is the case of the disappearing ball. The ball bounces away from the catcher and as he searches helplessly for the ball, the runner scores from third. You'll never believe where the ball ended up.
