Over 206,000 Acres Burned by Colorado Wildfires
Wildfires active in Colorado have burned over 206,000 acres but firefighters are getting closer to the containment of many of the fires currently burning. Here are the latest reports of progress made to contain the fires.
There are 13 active wildfires currently reported by Colorado Homeland Security and Emergency Management which have burned over 206,000 acres as of Monday morning (July 9). Of those fires, the Spring Fire and 416 Fire account for about 78% of the total burn area.
