You don't have to ask what's bugging this reporter, it's obvious she has a fear of cicadas.

We all have our fears or phobias of some sort of bug, but this woman was really upset her report was being video-bombed by by the annoying insects.

While cicadas aren't generally a threat to humans - they don't bite or sting - they can mistake skin for a food source and make a very small but painful puncture.

Conversly, humans have been known to eat cicadas. They are both low in carbohydrates and gluten-free.

According to MagicCicada.org, 2015 is a great year for the insect with both 13-year and 17-year periodical broods emerging.

As for this Kansas reporter, she picked the wrong place and time for her report as massive numbers of cicadas had made their debut around Ft. Riley and the Topeka area where she was doing her live shot.
