New Album For ABBA’s Agnetha Faltskog
It's been over 30 years since there's been anything new from the Swedish pop group ABBA - and there's nothing to indicate we should be expecting anything. But ABBA fans, like me, should be thrilled with a brand new solo album from Agnetha Faltskog. The album is scheduled to hit stores in the U.S. on May 14th.

Agnetha was reluctant to restart her singing career. She says she thought she would never sing again, but admits, "hearing the first three songs I just couldn't say no!" The 10-track collection on the album titled "A" includes a tune called "I Keep Them On the Floor Beside My Bed," the first song she has co-written in several years. "I hadn't written any music for a long, long time. But, I sat at the piano and suddenly it was there."
The record's lead single was released on Monday, "When You Really Loved Someone." It's a solo album, but on this first single when you hear Agnetha's sweet and distinctive voice you can't help but detect the familiar hints of ABBA. This album has been a long time coming, but it's evident that Agnetha hasn't lost a single beat since the ABBA heyday. Her voice is as clear and beautiful as ever. By the way, fans who pre-order "A" from itunes will be able to immediately download "When You Really Loved Someone" for free.
Take a couple of minutes and enjoy the official video of "When You Really Loved Someone." You can now find Agnetha on facebook.
