Twitter Suspends Boebert Account Then Reverses Decision

Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is in the news again today.

Earlier on Wednesday, Boebert's Twitter account was temporarily suspended after she spread what Twitter called false information about the election. However,  a short time later, according to the Denver Post, the account was restored when Twitter acknowledge their staff had erred in their decision.

Responses to Boebert's tweet were mixed, though largely supportive of the freshman congresswoman who continues to make national headlines just a week into her first term in Washington.

Boebert first made headlines recently with a video that shows her walking the streets of Washington, D.C. declaring her intention to carry her firearm in the city and in the capitol. On Tuesday, Boebert was again in the news when she reportedly refused to turn over her bag to capitol police when a metal detector sounded as she walked through. It's not certain exactly how the matter was resolved.

The temporary suspension of Congresswoman Boebert's account and subsequent reversal comes on the heels of President Trump's Twitter account being suspended and removed for what it called "risk of further incitement of violence."
