Fantasy Canyon: located in the Uintah Basin near Vernal, Fantasy Canyon is a 10-acre geological park filled with naturally formed sandstone sculptures.

Sun Tunnels: located in Wendover, the Sun Tunnels are an art installation made up of four large concrete tubes created in 1973 by Nancy Holt of the Land Art Movement.

Mars Desert Research Station: the Mars Desert Research Station is owned by the NASA-funded space advocacy group Mars Society. Located near Hanksville people can observe the simulations September-May.

Gunlock Falls: Gunlock State Park was formed in 1970 and the falls form during the spring if there’s been enough winter runoff.
