It’s Your Last Chance to See the Dillon Ice Castles
After several weeks of beautiful ice structures, the Dillon Ice Castles will be closing this weekend.
A sure sign that spring is on the way is the closing of the Dillon Ice Castles, which means time is running out if you want to experience this icy phenomenon.
The Dillon ice experience will be closing on Saturday, March 9 which leaves you with three chances to check it out - Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The Ice Castles experience includes tunnels, archways, ice slides, ice canyons, and you may even get to experience a fire show.
You can get tickets in advance online, which is recommended. Ticket prices range from $10.95 to $18.95.
If you go, you definitely want to dress warm - after all, it is still winter and we are talking about thousands of tons of ice. Once you get to Dillon there are a number of parking options on a first-come first-served basis.
Say goodbye Ice Castles, hello spring!
