Here’s Why You Don’t Want to Miss Grand Junction’s Tech Expo
The Mesa County Libraries Tech Expo is definitely the place to be on January 22.
The event is only in its third year, which means there's a decent chance you have never attended. This could be the year that changes.
The Tech Expo is an "indoor showcase of exciting technology" featuring displays and demonstrations of unique technologies. Admission is free, and the event is suitable for all ages.
We live in a high-tech world that is ever changing. This is a great opportunity to see some of the latest local technology up close. Demonstrations include 3-D printing, biometric testing equipment, virtual reality, digital conversion, robots, and more.
Can you imagine what the Tech Expo would have been like 40 years ago? Perhaps it would have showcased the cordless telephone, the VCR, the four-slice toaster, and maybe even a personal computer.
During the Tech Expo, there is going to be musical entertainment by local favorites Tim & Richard, via live stream from the 970West Studio. Plus, you have a chance to win some 'valuable prizes."
The bottom line is - it sounds like a totally cool event that you could do by yourself or with the entire family. Come for one hour, or stay for two, it's just up to you.
The 2019 Tech Expo runs 4pm-7pm on Tuesday, January 22 at the Mesa County Libraries central location at Fifth and Grand in Grand Junction.
