Last week I saw something on social media that I was thinking about for a few days so I decided after thinking about it for this long it was time to write about it. There are many people that struggle with grief, depression, and could benefit from counseling.

Growing up I remember there being some sort of stigma attached to going to counseling but I can tell you that is gone. Trying to better yourself or get help to work through tough situations in life is nothing to be ashamed of. There are so many people that struggle daily but never face their problems head-on. While I will never reveal who posted online looking for help, I applaud their efforts of trying to make improvements in their life.

It was also really cool to see so many people here is Western Colorado have great suggestions on who to talk to or where to go for help if you're struggling with grief, depression, or just need some counseling suggestions.

Here were the recommendations that were made in case you know someone who might be in need of someone to talk out problems with:

Finally, there was one more suggestion for a Facebook Group called Heartbeat - Survivors after Suicide Inc. There is no specific way of grieving or dealing with life. Don't feel bad about needing some help, we have all been there. But please, take action, and get the help you need.
