Volunteer Fair an Amazing Start to Making a Positive Difference in Grand Junction

Volunteering is a great way to help make a community better. But, many don't know the volunteer opportunities available or what organization is the right fit. To make it easy, just attend the Volunteer Fair this Saturday (August 13).

The Volunteer Fair, organized by Western Slope Volunteer Management Association, is bringing 22 different organizations together at Mesa Mall. This way, people can easily find a personally rewarding volunteer option, even if it's a few hours a week or month.

The Volunteer Fair takes place inside Mesa Mall Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

A few of the agencies with volunteer opportunities include,

• Homeward Bound
• Mesa County Libraries
• Center for Independence
• Grand Valley Catholic Outreach
