Grand Junction Spring Clean Up Do’s and Don’ts

The City of Grand Junctions Annual Spring Clean Up begins this month! Are you ready? Get the do's and don't of the city wide clean up, here!

When will you area be picked up?

• The North of North Avenue starts April 14th at 7a
• The South side of North Avenue begins April 21st at 7a (this includes Orchard Mesa & the Redlands)

Prohibited Items

• Hazardous Waste- paints, stains, gas, oil, antifreeze, etc.
• Liquids of ANY kind
• Tires
• Asphalt Rubble - shingles
• Brick and Concrete Rubble
• Electronic Waste - cell phones, computers, monitors, TV's etc.
• Nothing longer than 6 feet in length
• Engines, freezers, refrigerators, fuel tanks, air conditioners, air  and gas cylinders.

When Should I Have Items Out and Where Do I Place them

• Place items out on the curb in front of YOUR house no later than 7 a.m.

FREE Disposal Dates

• Mesa County Landfill 4/12 8a to 4:30p
• Gateway Transfer Station 4/19 9a to 2p
• DeBeque Transfer Station 4/26 9a 2p

*All waste materials entering MUST be tarped and secured. FREE day exceptions include ties, electronic waste, appliances with refrigerant and commercially hauled materials.
