We may not have hurricanes and tsunamis in Grand Junction, but we do get rainbows, and Western Colorado can be a great place for rainbow viewing. Rainbows are one of God's incredible creations, and who among us doesn't marvel every time we see one stretch across the sky following a refreshing rain shower. Rainbows are kind of like stars , clouds, and the ocean - you never get tired of looking at them.

As summer winds down and we get into fall, we can expect more rain showers, and more opportunities to enjoy these colorful ribbons in the sky. Of course, if you happen to be in the right place at the right time you can get some gorgeous shots of rainbows with a back drop of the Grand Mesa, the Bookcliffs, or the National Monument. We would love for you to share your rainbow pictures with us.
